  Jesus told his disciples when he gave them their responsibilities in the work he left for them to do told them to "Make Disciples". That is the purpose of the Sunday school ministry here at Calvary Brethren Church. Through teaching the principals of the word of God we hope to strengthen peoples walk with the Lord thus causing them to be better disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have many excellent teacher here at CBC. In the Adult department we have 3 classes that you can choose from. Our auditorium class was taught for many years by Larry Coleman. After his death in 2008 from Lou Gehrig's disease we named the class in his memory. Pastor Rick currently teaches this class. This is a mixed class made up of both men and women. The format is a discussion style teaching. We also have a ladies only class taught by our Church pianist Shirley Ramsey. Again Shirley has a great grasp of the truth's of God's word and the ladies are blessed weekly by her teaching. We have another class that is somewhat unique in that it is taught by Bro. Roy Fauber. Brother Roy is still teaching God’s word at over 100 years of age. Those who attend his class are blessed by his grasp of the word and years of experience in life. Our Children's classes are graded from nursery up through teens. We are thrilled with all those who help in these ministries to our young children.
 Brother Eric Ramsey is our Sunday school superintendent. Eric does an excellant job in coordinating and dealing with all of the complexities of the Sunday school.
