  Jesus told his disciples when he gave them their responsibilities in the work he left for them to do told them to "Make Disciples". That is the purpose of the Sunday school ministry here at Calvary Brethren Church. Through teaching the principals of the word of God we hope to strengthen peoples walk with the Lord thus causing them to be better disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have many excellent teacher here at CBC. In the Adult department we have 4 classes that you can choose from. Our auditorium class is taught by Larry Coleman. Larry is a very skilled teacher. He has a great understanding of the scriptures and has an ability to communicate it that many full time ministers do not. This is a mixed class made up of both men and women. We also have a ladies only class taught by our Church pianist Shirley Ramsey. Again Shirley has a great grasp of the truth's of God's word and the ladies are blessed weekly by her teaching. We have another class that is somewhat unique in that it is taught by Bro. Roy Fauber. Brother Roy is still teaching God’s word at 95 years of age. Those who attend his class are blessed by his grasp of the word and years of experience in life. The other Adult class is the Career Class. Here young couples and families are taught the word by several excellent teachers.
Our Children's classes are graded from nursery up through teens. We are thrilled with all those who help in these ministries to our young children.
 Brother Melvin Roberts is our Sunday school superintendent. Melvin has many hats in our Church but does his best work in coordinating and dealing with all of the complexities of the Sunday school and Vacation Bible School which the Sunday School conducts annually.
